Four steps, in this order

  1. ExportThe school exports from its current system, or saves its spreadsheet as a file. RunMyCampus does not sign in to the other system.
  2. ImportMigration Cloud reads the file through an export connector, or the canonical CSV where there is no connector.
  3. Review held rowsRows that do not fit are held rather than guessed. A person reviews them before they land.
  4. Cut overThe old system stays read-only until the new record matches. Then you retire it.

Who does what

The school

  • Makes the export file from the system it uses today.
  • Keeps the old system read-only during the changeover.
  • Confirms the new record matches before retiring the old one.

RunMyCampus

  • Imports the file and holds rows that do not fit.
  • Shows a person the held rows to decide on.
  • Works on the file only, never inside your old system.
